Shatta Wale's generous gesture came after he visited Teshie Gbuglah Mantse, Original Nii Martey Laryea I, on August 24, 2025, ahead of a spiritual cleansing ritual at Next Door Beach in Teshie.

Accompanied by Sammy Flex and his team, Shatta Wale wore a simple white outfit and took part in symbolic rituals, including one involving an earthenware bowl emitting smoke.
