In a passionate TikTok video, the lady, identified as Adelaide, said she was initially excited to see the young star, Nakeeyat, boldly attacking a societal vice through sensitization in dance moves.

Sadly, the excitement quickly turned to anger and disbelief after reading the comment section of Nakeeyat's dance video. YEN.com.gh understands that Nakeeyat recently shared a video on TikTok dancing to Focalistic's President Ya Straata.

Ghanaian lady comments on Nakeeyat's trending video

In the video, she wore a grey-coloured top over wine-coloured leggings with a cap of the same colour and white sneakers to match. She threw her legs about in excitement. The comment on the post made Adelaide question the intentions and motives of many Ghanaians.

According to her, instead of praising the 13-year-old for her courage, several grown men left inappropriate comments, the very behaviour Nakeeyat tried to sensitise the public on.

Adelaide expressed shock that many commenters not only made inappropriate remarks but also blamed Nakeeyat for being active on social media. Some even claimed they “made her famous” and now regretted it.

“People are in the comment section telling her that ‘we made you who you are today’, ‘I regret voting for you’. You are proving her right,” Adelaide said in her video.

She also called out the double standards of adults who once celebrated child stars but now shame them when they use their voices to speak on real issues.
