Jay-Z's mum weds female partner

Gloria and her long-time lover Roxanne left social media abuzz with the news of their wedding.

TMZ reported that the event was star-studded, with A-list celebrities gracing the event.

While Jay-Z and his wife, Beyoncé, are the crème de la crème of A-listers when it comes to showbiz, other celebrities joined them in the festivities.

Among the guests were: Tyler Perry, Kelly Rowland, Kris Jenner's lover Corey Gamble, and Beyoncé's mum, Tina Knowles.

The couple's firstborn daughter Blue Ivy Carter also looked glamorous in a silk gown while attending the wedding.

Jay-Z told his mum's story via his 2017 track Smile and, in 2019, shouted her out at the GLAAD Media Awards, thanking her for letting him tell her story.

Part of the lyrics from the song:

Bride dances in heels

In a previous story, YEN.com.gh reported that a viral video spotlighting an overexcited bride's dramatic entrance to her wedding reception with her White husband sparked a social media stir.

The pair happily danced to Heavy Load, a popular song by top-tier Ghanaian rapper Eno Barony, across the pathway to the front at their wedding.
