“If it is to be done, it must be done well. If it’s to be done well, it means it must be thoroughly done. The job must be properly done. You are the lawyers, and so you should know. You cannot, in one breath, be making proclamations that are condemning the people on the other side while you are part of the people who want to subvert the same law in the same constitution. You should be the first point to ensure that things are done properly. That is the only way we can establish a society that will be truly great and strong.”
“The pressure is mounting, and we at the level of the party are picking up the signals. That many among us, despite the pressure coming from the public that things have to be done properly, some among us are busy trying to cut deals with people who are supposed to be prosecuted,” he added.
