Kennedy Agyapong Forms Anti-Election Rigging Squad Ahead of NPP Primaries

  • The Kennedy Agyapong campaign team has set up a task force to monitor the Presidential Primaries to ensure they are not rigged
  • According to the Director of Elections for the Kennedy Agyapong Campaign Team, he believes their candidate will win if there is no rigging
  • The NPP will hold its Presidential Primaries on January 31, 2026, to elect a flagbearer who will lead the party into the 2028 general elections

Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, a 2028 aspiring flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has established an Anti-Election Rigging Response Squad to ensure that the party's Presidential Primary is not rigged.

Joojo Rocky Obeng, the Director of Elections for the Kennedy Agyapong Campaign Team, said they believe there are intentions to favour one candidate during the Presidential Primaries, hence their initiative.

“Some prophets have indicated to us that if the election is conducted in a free and fair manner, Ken Ohene Agyapong will emerge the winner, but they caution us to put in place strict measures to stop any rigging.”

According to Joojo Rocky Obeng, the Anti-Rigging Response Team will be functional in all 276 constituencies of the country. The main objective of the team is to work to protect the ballot for Kennedy Ohene Agyapong.

“Our leader, Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong, sent a strong signal to all stakeholders that no one should attempt rigging this election. We have set up this Response Team to enforce his command and desire for a free and fair election. So this is to ensure that nobody rigs the elections—we mean nobody.”

Joojo Rocky Obeng said they are certain Kennedy Agyapong will emerge as the flagbearer of the NPP if the Presidential Primaries are not rigged.

“If this election is free and fair, Kennedy Agyapong will win, we know that, but to protect the integrity of the polls, we need to ensure that the right things are done.”

The NPP will hold its Presidential Primaries on January 31, 2026, to elect a flagbearer who will lead the party into the 2028 general elections.

Kennedy Agyapong bonds with employees

YEN.com.gh reported that Kennedy Agyapong visited his rubber factory and joined his employees on a working day.

The NPP Presidential flagbearer hopeful sat casually among his staff and helped them package the rubber, warming the hearts of his many workers.

Several Ghanaians watched the video and shared their thoughts on his actions. Some thought it was a lovely thing to do, while others did not seem pleased with his engagement with some of his staff members.
