Hajia Kande, the mother of former Black Stars midfielder, Sulley Muntari, has passed on.
According to reports, the former AC Milan man's mother died on Sunday, May 30, 2021, after battling with an illness.
The deceased is said to be very supportive of her two sons, Sulley Muntari and former Asante Kotoko midfielder Muniru Sulley who now plays for the Belarusian side, Minsk.
Hajia Kande made headlines after her rant that the Ghana football team will not perform well without her son’s contribution back in 2009.
Hajia Kande has always been in the media for her love for her son.
Meanwhile, Ghanaian actor, Eddie Samuel Obong Watson Junior, has announced the death of his mother, Leonora Caulker aka Mama Leo.
The award-winning moviemaker took to social media to announce and grief with his fans and followers.
In the post sighted on his Instagram page, Eddie Watson said:
'Today my sweet mother and my angel went to be with the Lord! My heart aches, a pain I never thought existed.''
He added: ''Thank you, mama, for the few months of laughter, tears and peace you came to share with me. Death took your body, but it sure did not take your spirit (the real you)! I know the real you, Leonora Caulker AKA Mama Leo, rest in the bosom of your maker! Love you eternally! ❤️.''
Eddie Watson shared visuals along with the post, capturing his most memorable experience with his late mother.
