According to a leaked result, Nigerian international Ademola Lookman missed out on the top 15 finish in the final 2024 Ballon d'Or ranking.
The Atalanta forward is the only African player nominated for the prestigious prize after his impressive performance for club and country this year.
Lookman played a key role in Nigeria's campaign at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, scoring three goals as the Super Eagles finished as runners-up.

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Atalanta have reportedly begun making plans for life without Ademola Lookman and have a strategy for replacing him from next season.
Lookman joined Atalanta from German club RB Leipzig in 2022 and has been named the club's player of the year in the two seasons, helping them win the UEFA Europa League last season.
He set the record for being the first player to net a hat trick in the competition’s final, which earned him the Ballon d'Or nomination.
