I Joined Ignorantly - Man Says as He Writes Open Letter to Cult Group, Says He is No Longer Interested
- A Nigerian youth has called it quits on his membership of a secret cult group in an open letter making the rounds on social media
- Reje Agbor Ojong wrote to the Aro Confraternity that he has now embraced Christ and would subsequently not participate in any of their activities
- The Cross Rivers state indigene appealed to the cult members to stay clear of him, adding that law enforcement agencies have been intimated of his decision

Reje Agbor Ojong, a young Nigerian man, has denounced his membership of the Aro Confraternity secret cult group.
In an open letter shared by Voice Ofthe Street on Facebook, the Cross Rivers state indigene admitted to joining them ignorantly and has now come to his senses.

Reje said he had embraced Christ
Reje appealed to members of the secret cult to steer clear of him as he has received Christ and won't be part of their activities anymore.

He added that law enforcement agencies had been duly notified of his recent decision.
The body of the open letter reads:
"I Reje Agbor Ojong (Aro island Checkmate) a native of Adijinkpor No II in Ikom LGA of Cross Rivers State Do hereby denounce myself from the membership of Aro Bagar Confraternity secret cult activities which I joined ignorantly.
"I state categorically that I will no longer have anything to do with the cult group all members of the group should henceforth leave me alone as I have given my life to Christ.
"Law enforcement agencies have been accordingly notified, please."

Cult clash between rival groups claim 8 lives
Meanwhile, Nigeria's number one new site, Legit.ng, previously reported how a bloody clash between rival cult groups had left 8 dead.
A source whose name was not revealed said the clash started at a friend’s night programme when some boys accosted a Vikings carrying bag in his hands at midnight at Etebi in Esit Eket
According to the source, the Black Axe group searched the bag and discovered it contained locally made pistols that they seized, which later degenerated into violence.
