US Air Force Member Dies After Setting Himself On Fire Outside Israeli Embassy
- Aaron Bushnell, the active duty U.S. Air Force member who set himself on fire in front of the Israeli Embassy has died of his injuries

Washington DC, USA - Aaron Bushnell, a member of the United States Air Force who set himself ablaze on Sunday, February 25, outside the Israeli Embassy in Washington, D.C., has died.
The deceased set himself on fire while shouting “Free Palestine".

NBC News noted that a US official confirmed the news of the Air Force official's death to it.
As reported by the Associated Press, Bushnell walked up to the Israeli embassy at about 1 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, and began live-streaming on the video streaming platform Twitch.
Bushnell, 25, declared that he “will no longer be complicit in genocide".
Law enforcement agents believe the late Air Force member started a livestream, set his phone down and then doused himself in accelerant and ignited the flames.
The Air Force confirmed on Monday, February 26, that Bushnell is an active duty member and was a cyber defence operations specialist with the 531st Intelligence Support Squadron at Joint Base San Antonio Lackland, Texas. He served on active duty since May 2020.
U.S. Air Force Colonel Celina Noyes, 70th Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance Wing commander, said:
“When a tragedy like this occurs, every member of the Air Force feels it.
“We extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Senior Airman Bushnell.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with them, and we ask that you respect their privacy during this difficult time.”

Court disqualifies Trump from US 2024 presidential ballot
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the Supreme Court in Colorado disqualified the former President of the United States, Donald Trump, from contesting in the 2024 presidential election over his role in the 2021 assault on the Capitol by his supporters.
The court also ruled that the former US President's name should not appear on the state's primary ballot.
