Nana Kwaku Okyere Duah, commonly known as Tic Tic, has annulled what seemed like a curse pronounced on his career by Shatta Wale.

According to him Shatta Wale is not God so that his pronouncements take effect in his life.

Therefore, he is not bothered about Shatta’s ‘hateful’ statement that he Tic Tac won’t be able to make a hit song again.

Tic Tac made these comments when he appeared as guest on GHOne TV on Friday.

According to him, he has always looked up to God for success in his career and life in general and so he is not afraid of whatever comments Shatta Wale makes concerning him.

The self-acclaimed Ghana Dancehall King, Shatta Wale, has ‘attacked’ Tic Tac on many occasions.

He once said that Tic Tac’s style of music has expired and for that matter he would never be able to release any more hit songs.

Also after Tic Tac won a GH₵300,00 suit against Melcom, Shatta Wale mocked him, saying that would be the only large sum Tic Tac would receive in his life.

But Tic Tac has stressed on his interview on GHOne that he is unperturbed about Shatta Wale’s comment because he is not the one in control of his life.

As a matter of fact, I feel pity for him [Shatta Wale] when he makes such utterances,” Tic Tac revealed.

“I am not bothered about what he says about me because it is only Jehovah God who can affect my life,” Tic Tac said.

According to him, Shatta Wale is a human like himself and for that matter the two of them can die at anytime.

“We are all breathing the same air and Jehovah God is the one controlling everything so why should I fear what a mere human like Shatta says about me,” he quizzed.

According to him, the twenty years he has spent in music attest that Shatta Wale who started music just ‘four years ago’ is not his match.

He added that his ‘hustle is bigger than Shatta Wale’s hustle and so Wale should respect his own hustle while he Tic Tac respects his as well.

Tic Tac further stated that life is unpredictable and one can lose all his property at any time.

A reason why Shatta Wale must stop bragging unnecessarily and be concerned about the legacy he wishes to leave behind.

One day he can wake up and everything he thinks he has – the cars and the money will all be gone.”

"I have been around for decades and he has for only 4 years; he cannot compare himself to me,” Tic Tac bragged.

However, Tic Tac couldn’t finish making his points because he had to walk out on the presenter when a misunderstanding erupted in the course of the interview.
