Ebony goes ‘crazy’ over 1million views for 'Maame Hwe' video

Talented Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, aka Ebony Reigns has gone ‘crazy’ on social media after her latest music video hit 1 million views on Youtube.

Ebony who went live on her twitter page was spotted celebrating with some friends for the success of the latest, ‘Maame Hwe’ video online.

The new video which was released few weeks ago is currently trending second on Youtube with over one million views since its released and still counting.

The ‘Poison’ singer who couldn’t hide her excitement in a video posted on her twitter handle, “Oh my goodness, such a beautiful way to start my 25th which is Christmas, Oh my God, check the score board numbers don’t lie and ‘Maame Hwe’ is 1 million in one week”.

Though Ebony has been widely criticized for her style of dressing, it appears she has won the hearts of many Ghanaians with her latest song, ‘Maame Hwe’.

Ebony in the video also expressed her appreciation to her fans, adding that the views was the best Christmas gift she has ever received.

Some entertainment pundits have argued in many conversations that, it is likely the young female artiste will dominate major awards shows in the country in 2018.

Meanwhile, the manager of the artiste, Bullet has described Ebony as a blessing to the growing Ghana music industry.

“She has been a blessing to the many young females, looking for that single opportunity to show what they can do. It is always okay to skip school to pursue that desire. Ebony has shown the way,” Ghanaweb report quoted Bullet.
