Rapper Sarkodie acknowledged his fans for their support following double award-winning night at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
The ‘Jennifer Lomotey’ hitmaker was one of the biggest winners at the event, as he won two awards.
Sarkodie was first adjudged the Best Rapper of the Year, before again scooping the award for Best Hiplife/Hip-hop Artiste of the Year.
Also, the rapper received a standing ovation all through his performance when he mounted the stage.
Sarkodie has acknowledged the role of the fans in his blossoming career and paid tribute to them after winning his latest awards.
In an Instagram post, he promised never to take the love and support of his fans for granted, adding that he will do his best to make them proud.
Sarkodie wrote: “From the bottom of my heart wanna say a big "Thank You" to the people of (My people) for this unconditional love over the years ... will never take your ️ for granted Will do my best to keep you proud ! GOD BLESS YALL #VGMA18"Best Rapper of the Year" ➕"HipHop HopLife"
