Sarkodie thanks fans after scooping two awards at VGMA

- The whole music industry in Ghana gathered to reward those who did well in 2017

- Rapper Sarkodie was one of the deserving artiste for the night; he bagged two awards

Rapper Sarkodie acknowledged his fans for their support following double award-winning night at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).

The ‘Jennifer Lomotey’ hitmaker was one of the biggest winners at the event, as he won two awards.

Sarkodie was first adjudged the Best Rapper of the Year, before again scooping the award for Best Hiplife/Hip-hop Artiste of the Year.

Also, the rapper received a standing ovation all through his performance when he mounted the stage.

Sarkodie has acknowledged the role of the fans in his blossoming career and paid tribute to them after winning his latest awards.

In an Instagram post, he promised never to take the love and support of his fans for granted, adding that he will do his best to make them proud.
