Nigerian renews age-old feud; chooses Stonebwoy over Shatta Wale

- According to him, no one talks about Shatta Wale in Nigeria

A Nigerian social media user, has allegedly attempted to renew the ‘war’ between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.

According to a report by Ghanacelebrities.com, the unnamed user stated that Nigerians support Stonebwoy instead of Shatta Wale.

According to him, Stonebwoy has ‘clean talent’, compared to Shatta Wale, of whom no one talks about in Nigeria.

He went ahead to say that Shatta Wale’s song, ‘Gbee Naabu’, makes him sound like a frog.

The person added that Shatta Wale’s music is below standard, and cannot be compared to that of Wizkid.

Shatta Wale is one of Ghana's most popular dancehall artists.

The musician shot up to fame in 2004 with his hit single "Bandana from Ghana", which made tremendous hits on the Ghanaian airwaves.

Fast-tracking to recent times, Shatta Wale had his reputation as king of dancehall music secured after the president of the Republic, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo named him "King of Dancehall music" in a birthday message.

The dancehall guru’s influence with his large fan base makes him one of Ghana’s highly favored celebrities.
