Adom FM's Captain Smart taken off air
- Adom FM's morning show host, Captain Smart has been suspended
- Close sources say Captain Smart's suspension follows a series of warning from the station's management over some of his utterances on air

Adom FM's morning show host, Captain Smart has been interdicted, YEN.com.gh can confirm.
According to close sources, Captain Smart had been previously warned by the management of the station for some of his utterances on air, but he has persistently ignored their warnings, leading to his interdiction.

The management of Multimedia, operators of Adom FM, is said to have pointed out that Captain Smart’s utterances on air was “designed to bring their business into disrepute."
The management said they are carrying out investigations into his ‘reckless utterances’ on his Dwaso Nsɛm show and will apply more sanctions against him later.
"Yes, he has. He's been interdicted, pending investigations into comments he supposedly made on air," YEN.com.gh's sources confirmed.

His interdiction took effect on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, the reported stated.
Captain Smart joined Adom FM, the leading Akan station of the Multimedia Group in 2013.
This followed a stellar career with Kumasi-based Fox FM as a morning show host.
After joining Adom FM, Captain Smart has forged a reputation as a hard-hitting anti-corruption campaigner.

His Fabɛwɔso segment on the Adom FM Dwaso Nsɛm morning show which he uses to unveil corrupt practices in the public sector has especially struck a chord with listeners.
