Everyone claps as an important marriage tip is given to John Dumelo and his wife

The marriage of actor and businessman, John Dumelo to Gifty Mawuenya on Saturday, May 12, 2018, attracted the attention of Ghanaians, especially social media users.

Various media platforms shared information, as well as photos of the event, which YEN.com.gh learnt was strictly by invitation.

According to sources, two military men were stationed at the entrance to the venue, in order to ward off uninvited people.

That was not all; Former President John Mahama graced the occasion with his presence, to the delight of the couple.

Several celebrities, including Ramsey Nouah from Nigeria, also came to celebrate with John Dumelo and his wife.

As custom demands, parents of the couple, as well as other elderly people present, gave pieces of advice to the newlyweds.

One of such messages, however, had everyone applauding, considering the status of the bride and the groom in society.

Dumelo and his wife were asked to ensure that they avoid sharing their marriage issues on social media, in a bid to seek public sympathy.

The couple was further advised to talk through their problems as husband and wife.
