Social media culture is a fast one. The crash course is free and the rewards are massive. Social media networking has become the fastest and cheapest way to market and promote products. Sometimes the products are people. A fast rising newcomer to the self-promotion business is one by name Ohemaa Glory.
Glory or Ohemaa, is dividing opinions on Ghanaian social media. Her adventure is usually on Instagram and Twitter.
On these two platforms, Ohemaa Glory posts photos intended to look seductive and physically attractive. It is not the case that she is doing something new. It is how she has come about without a the traditional hype team to promote her.
And this is where her division of opinions matter. Many say the fact that she has a lot of female detractors is because she does not belong to female "cliques".
She has been compared to Moesha Boduong. This is not only as a result of her physique but the suspicion that she is using that to curry favour in the showbiz industry.
It is not clear what the future holds for Ohemaa Glory. But one can confidently say is here for the long haul especially with way she has gone on with her self-promotion.
