Photos of Tony Lithur and Nana Oye Lithur in happy times
Ghanaians woke on the morning of Wednesday, June 12 to a report on YEN.com.gh of a divorce suit between renowned lawyers, Tony Lithur and his wife, Nana Oye Lithur.
Actually, the news had surfaced late on Tuesday night after screenshots of the suit surfaced online.
In the petition dated May 2, 2018, which was filed at a High Court in Accra, Mr Lithur claimed their marriage had broken down beyond repair and his continuous stay in the marriage would only cause him pain.
Among many the reasons Mr Lithur cited for the divorce, he has accused Nana Oye of being cruel and violent towards other people especially their household staff and even engaging in extra marital affairs during their time together.

In simple terms, Mr Lithur's petition paints a very gloomy picture of their relationship which no one will have associated with a couple who are as successful as the Lithurs.
YEN.com.ghhas put together photos of the two and their children in their happy times.
The couple married have been married for over 27 years first under customary law on April 14, 1991, and later under the Ordinance at the Christ the King Catholic Church in Accra on January 16, 1997.

Tony Lithur and Nana Oye who have four children from their marriage had been considered as one of the most famous and successful couples in Ghana.
While Tony Lithur is a successful lawyer with clients including former President John Mahama, Nana Oye is equally a successful lawyer, a renowned human rights advocate and former Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection under the Mahama government.

It, therefore, will be interesting to see how the divorce suit will go if they two decide to make it a battle.
But looking at these photos, one thing which is clear is that their time together has not been all gloomy and that they were at some points very happy together.
