The arrest of the two will not be the first embarassing security situation at the Jubilee House since Akufo-Addo took office in 2017.

It will be recalled that in the early days of the administration, some members of the New Patritoic Party's (NPP) vigilante groups were seen in a video attacking a police officer stationed at the Flagstaff House as it was then known.

In December 2017, YEN.com.gh reported the arrest of a fake presidential staffer who had defrauded many people under the guise of working at the Jubilee House.
