Landlord destroys roof to eject a tenant from a building (Photos)
Information available to YEN.com.gh shows that an unidentified landlord has destroyed the roof of a two-bedroom apartment in a bid to eject the tenant.
The tenant, 39-year-old Philomena Agyarko and her family had the shock of their lives when they returned home from work to witness the roof of the building being damaged.
The incident occurred at Sowutuom in the Ga Central Municipality of the Greater Accra region.

According to the victim, the landlord took the action without any court order or formal permission.
“It is sad for a property owner to destroy his house just because he wants the tenant out,” Agyarko fumed.
YEN.com.gh understands that police officials in Sowutuom are currently investigating the matter. The suspect has meanwhile been granted bail.
