Delay calls footballer Boakye-Yiadom her 'bestie' as photos of the two go viral

Media personality Delores Frimpong-Manso seems to have found a new favourite person for the new year. It is no other person than Red Star Belgrade striker and Ghana international, Richmond Boakye Yiadom.

Whatever is going on between the TV presenter, who is also known as Delay, and the footballer, has been described as fireworks.

Over the past week, Delay has shared three posts featuring herself and the footballer on her Instagram. One of those posts was captions: “Bestie for life @officalboakyeyiadom” .

Not much has been added by Boakye-Yiadom on his own social media pages. It may seem that the former Sassuolo striker is either not an avid social media user or trying to keep things under wraps.

The term 'bestie' has in recent times become a buzzword for entertainment observers in Ghana thanks to the love triangle involving Deborah Vanessa, Fella Makafui and Medikal.

Rumours were rife that rapper Medikal, had left his girlfriend Deborah Vanessa, for another girl.

When the news first broke out about their love affair, Medikal debunked it saying that Makafui was his 'bestie'. The pair later turned out to be lovers.

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Delay has said that 2018 was so busy that she forgot to get married.

Regardless of the pressures from society to get married, the media personality has stood her grounds to achieve greater things for herself rather than get stifled by marriage.
