A rare genetic disease known as progeria is said to make people living with it age rapidly. Two siblings identified as Michiel and Amber Vandeweert who live with this disease have become inspirations to many.
The siblings have refused to let progeria stop them from living their lives to the fulllest. 20-year-old Michiel and 12-year-old Amber are inspiring others living with the disease to live their best lives.
In a recent featured episode on Barcroft TV, the siblings shared their life stories and talked about their hobbies.

It was reported that Michiel who stands at 4 foot 1 inch loves to race around a track at Go Karting and snowboard with his friends and Amber who stands at 3 foot 7 inches loves to dance.

Progeria is a genetic condition characterized by the signs of accelerated, and premature, ageing.
People living with this disease experience problems with their bones, teeth and hair growth. They also have a very short life expectancy with many not making it to their teen years.

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh had reported a similar story of an inspirational 11-year-old girl with a rare genetic disease. The little girl was able to inspire millions with her YouTube videos despite her genetic disorder.
