Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy came under heavy criticisms from a section of social media users following their altercation at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards held on May 18, 2019.
Undoubtedly, Shatta Wale's critics were the loudest as many blamed him for causing the confusion by his attempt to get on the stage while Stonebwoy was receiving an award.
Not even his claim that he was going to congratulate Stonebwoy has saved Shatta Wale from harsh criticisms with many suggesting that the claim was a lie.

For this reason, Shatta Wale who seems to be afraid of the word 'congratulate' has released a new funny video joking with the word.
In the video sighted by YEN.com.gh on Monday, May 27, 2019, Shatta Wale narrated that he went to a party the previous night.
At the party, he saw a guy spraying a lot of cash and he decided to go and congratulate the guy. But he was fiercely prevented from doing so because he was being told to ask permission from the guy before.

"Right now, the word congratulate, I go change am, I go make am flatulate," Shatta Wale said with a joking demeanour.
Shatta Wale's video has received mixed reactions from social media users since it popped up online.

While some have blasted him over the funny video, others have taken it for a joke as Shatta intended and have praised his humour.
@dhatbwoycopper does not still believe the congratulations bit: "Oh commot...congratulation be by force? u see sey Messi take award wey Ronaldo go there sey he dey go congratulate am before? Wano paah paah"
@augtytetteh thought the video was childish: "Charley desist from those childish things bro.Most of your fans are non educated and will always watch what you do or say and feel is cool"
