Popular Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale is set to headline the Kasapreko Storm Energy Drink Concert tour.
Shatta Wale has been announced as the lead artiste to headline the Storm Energy Drink Concert Tour.
According to Kasapreko Company Ltd, the 'My Level' hit-maker will be the main act for their first concert to be held in Tamale.
Shatta Wale, who is the brand ambassador of Storm Energy Drink, is poised to thrill fans at the Tamale Sports Stadium.
Aside the self-proclaiming king of African dancehall, popular dancehall musician from Tamale, Maccasio, will also thrill fans.
The event, which will come off on June 8, 2019, will also feature artistes like Wizchild, Fadlan, One Naira, De Donzy, Sapashini, Sabziro and Flower Gaskia, who are all based in the North.
Even though Shatta Wale is facing backlash from Ghanaians over the VGMA brouhaha, he seems to be making strides on other fronts.
At the just-ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Shatta Wale became a subject of discussion after causing a brawl.
The brawl began after Shatta Wale and his team went on the stage at the time Stonebwoy was receiving his award.
The action, which was misunderstood by Stonebwoy's team, resulted in a scuffle at the venue of the event.
The incident led to a halt of the event for about twenty minutes and has been condemned by many entertainment pundits and Ghanaians in general.
According to those who jabbed both artistes, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy did not comport themselves.
Meanwhile, the two artistes have been banned by the VGMA board for their action which marred the event.
In addition to the ban, the board announced that the two musicians have been stripped off their awards won at the 2019 VGMAs.
However, some entertainment pundits and music lovers were of the view that the ban and the stripping of awards was too harsh.
