Star actress Nana Ama McBrown has resumed her duties as the host of McBrown Kitchen cooking show on UTV after taking a break to give birth.

On Sunday, July 21, 2019, she hosted RuffTown Records singer Wendy Shay to prepare wild black buttered pepper rice.

During Wendy Shay's appearance, McBrown showed and unexpected good knowledge in German language.

Starting the show, Wendy Shay told McBrown that she had striking resemblance her (Shay) mother.

McBrown in her response decided to speak Deutsche, knowing that Shay has stayed in Germany for many years.

Wendy Shay responded in the German language and for the next few seconds, the two exchanged pleasantries.

From the video sighted by YEN.com.gh, McBrown showed an appreciable understanding of German language that one would ordinarily not associate with her.

The video comes at a time Wendy Shay has been trending in the news after a photo of her in nursing uniform popped up online.

Sharing the photo, Shay wrote: “Baabi angye woa baabi b3gye wo...thank you God, thank you Ghana, thank you Bullet, thank you rufftown and thank you shayGang."

Her caption has led to suggestions that Wendy Shay is considering leaving her music career.
