In news report sighted by YEN.com.gh, Oduro’s wife has narrated the events leading to her husband’s death.

According to her, Oduro knew he was about to die, regarding the last wishes he made before his death.

She said when Oduro’s sickness worsened and was asked to be transferred from the 37 Military Hospital to Korle Bu, he asked that he be sent home to see his children and grandchildren.

The family, the wife revealed, accepted his request and sent him home.

Now that they were home, Oduro again said he wanted to spend the night with his children in the same room, another wish which was granted.

However, the next day, his ailment worsened and he died shortly after being rushed to Korle Bu.

Oduro would be best remembered for his preaching against those he called false prophets who have “commercialised God’s word”.

At times, he was also seen preaching in commercial vehicles.
