Never-seen-before 1980s photo Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and popular Asante icon in London pops up
- A photo of the current Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the then popular linguist, Baffuor Osei Akoto has surfaced online
- In the photo, Osei Tutu, then known as Barima Kwaku Dua and Baffuor Osei Akoto, were in London in the early 1980s
- Baffuor Akoto served as linguist to three Asantehenes: Prempeh II, Opoku Ware II and Osei Tutu II

YEN.com.gh is in possession of a photo taken in the early 1980s of the current Asantehene, Osei Tutu II and the legendary linguist, Baffuor Osei Akoto.
The photo was taken in London and shows the now Asantehene, then known as Barima Kwaku Dua, sporting an Afro hairstyle and completes his outfit with a shirt, trousers and a wristwatch on his hands.
Akoto, on the other hand, was in what appeared to be a cream-coloured suit and a red-dotted tie.

Information available shows that Akoto served as a linguist to three Asantehenes: Prempeh II, Opoku Ware II and Osei Tutu II.
