Man advertises himself on billboard to find love, with comical results

YEN.com.gh recently reported on an example of a young couple who are serving relationship goals.

Unfortunately, not everyone is lucky in finding their perfect match, as Mark Rofe had learnt.

After failing to land a date through conventional means, Mark decided to adopt a unique and comical approach.

He created a personalised billboard and his own website in the hope of landing his perfect partner.

Mark shared news of the decision via Twitter recently and it sparked a strong response.

He took it one step further by initiating a fundraiser in an attempt to acquire more billboard advertising.

Some tweeps empathised with Mark, but most simply saw the funny side and appreciated his lighthearted post.

Duane Brown (@duanebrown) said,

"Nice job Mark. Dating is harder these days and the apps don't make it easier. People think their is endless choices and thus they can be x as picky."

Hayley Jordan (@HayleyfrmNZ) was up for the challenge:

"You seem a bit strange but I'll go on a date with you next time you're in Manchester."
