Second Lady, Samira Bawumia has opined that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) should relax and watch President Akufo-Addo and her husband, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia fix the economy.
According to her, Dr. Bawumia has elevated Ghana’s politics from insults and propaganda to facts and figures.
Speaking on Asempa FM on Monday, March 9, the wife of the Vice President noted that her husband will not be deterred by the insults and name calling but rather stick to the facts.

Addressing a question on how she deals with the insults and backlash her husband has to tolerate, Samira Bawumia said “it is unfortunate that the Vice-President’s opponents resort to insults. If you have something good to say you won’t resort to insults”.
She also noted that, there are a lot of distortions in the arguments people make against her husband any time he presents the facts and figures as they are.
The Second Lady further asked the NDC to ‘relax’ and watch President Akufo-Addo and her husband do the job for Ghana.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that an aide to former president John Dramani Mahama has explained why the NDC leader does not attend some state functions.
According to Mr. Stan Dogbe, it is not compulsory for the former president to attend every state function or event he is invited to.
Stan’s comment comes on the back of social media troll at the National Democratic Congress ( NDC) flag bearer for not attending Ghana’s 63rd Independence Day ceremony.
