Menaye Donkor, the wife of former Black Stars midfielder Sulley Muntari, has shared a throwback video to celebrate her birthday.
Menaye, winner of Miss Universe Ghana in 2004, turned a year older on Friday, March 20, 2020.
Born in 1981, Menaye celebrated her 39th birthday and she took to social media to share a video. The video as sighted by YEN.com.gh shows photos of some of her best moments.
Sharing the video, Menaye indicated that she was observing social distancing/self-quarantine amid the Coronavirus outbreak.
Despite her inability to go out and celebrate, Menaye expressed her gratitude to God and indicated that her intention to celebrate after the pandemic goes away.
"Throwing back, reflecting and praying for this nightmare to end as I self-quarantine/social distance on my birthday. It’s times like these that you realize and appreciate the simple things in life such as being around family and friends.
I am however grateful to God for another year and I can’t wait to celebrate the last lap of my 30s (every single day lol) when things go back to normal.
Love you all and thanks for the warm wishes!!! Please stay safe and follow all the preventive measures to help stop the spread of this virus!! We are all in this together... ," she wrote.
