Gifty Anti: TV star tests negative for Coronavirus

Popular Ghanaian broadcaster, Gifty Anti is currently out of danger regarding her Coronavirus test results.

Anti, who was placed under mandatory quarantine following her exposure to the deadly COVID-19 has tested negative for the virus.

The renowned broadcaster was exposed to the Coronavirus while on a trip to the UK.

However, the test results onAnti’s sample were confirmed to her on Wednesday, March 25, 2020.

She made the announcement in her regular update on her Facebook wall since being quarantined when she arrived at the Kotoka International Airport Sunday, March 22, 2020.

"Some of you have asked me how I felt when I was told “your test came out negative.”

"Errrmmm, To those of you who have asked me to write another book on my Quarantine experience, I am starting the writing tonight!! Herrrrr."

She then added: "But let tell you this, between “hello I am Dr..”. to the end of the 5 minutes conversation, I lost 5 kilos!! Sharp. Chai!! Don’t laugh my paddy!!! Don’t joke with this uncle corona virus!!

We must fight it together!! We must defeat it big time and fast too!!

Stay safe!!! Practice the protocols. Don’t spread fear and panic!!!

Say a prayer for those who have tested positive and those waiting for their results.

God is healing our Land!!! Believe it.

Meanwhile, government has prevented a British Airways bound flight to Ghana from landing in the country despite an initial agreement for the British High Commission to evacuate some 360 UK nationals from Ghana.

According to Citi News sources, the initial agreement between the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority and the British High Commission in Accra did not get the approval and permission from the Office of the President.
