Putuu singer, Stonewboy, has earned a bad name for himself after pulling a gun on others three times in the space of two years.

The recent gun pulling allegedly happened at Sarkodie’s house where Stonebwoy had joined other musicians for the rehearsal and pre-recording of Sark’s Black Love virtual concert.

A misunderstanding reportedly arose between Stonebwoy and Sarkodie’s manager, Angel Town, pushing the former to pull out the gun.

YEN.com.gh brings you the three scary times Stonebwoy has pulled out a gun in public.

1. Fracas with Bulldog

This incident happened in 2018 when Stonebwoy pulled a gun on Bulldog at Legon. This was when Bulldog was working as the artiste and repertoire manager at Zylofon Music.

Stonebwoy was one of the artistes signed by Nana Appiah Mensah. After Shatta Wale was later signed to Zylofon, Stonebwoy revealed he had lost interest in the record label and wanted to leave.

Following this, Bulldog asked him to surrender the company’s car that was with him. At an event at Legon, Bulldog struggled with Stonebwoy over the car, which led to Stonebwoy pulling the gun.

2. VGMA 2019

The second incident happened at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) where Stonebwoy pulled a gun and threatened to shoot Shatta Wale.

This was when Shatta Wale walked onto the stage when Stonebwoy was giving a speech after being mentioned as the 'Dancehall Artiste of the Year'.

Stonebwoy pulled out the gun and shouted at the top of his voice saying: “I will shoot him, I will kill him”. In addition, Stonebwoy’s then manager, Blakk Cedi, punched Shatta Wale leaving his face swollen.

Stonebwoy’s action brought the event to a sudden close and created negative headlines about the 2019 VGMA for a long time. The two landed in the court and the case has still not been finalised.

3. Sarkodie’s house

The most current pulling out of a gun happened at Sarkodie’s house where Stonebwoy had gone to take part in the rehearsal and pre-recording of Sarkodie’s Black Love virtual concert.

It was reported that a misunderstanding arose between Stonebwoy and Sark’s manager, Angel Town, causing Stonebwoy to pull out a gun.

Even without shooting, Stonebwoy allegedly attacked Angel Town and hurt him in the eye.

Meanwhile, as earlier reported by YEN.com.gh, Stonebwoy is reported to have apologised to Angel Town after attacking him.

Sarkodie, on the other hand, has taken great offense to the incident and removed Stonebwoy’s name from the list of musicians billed to perform at the concert happening on August 16, 2020.

In another report by YEN.com.gh, it was published that Shatta Wale quickly intervened and brokered peace between Sarkodie and Stonebwoy.

However, it seems Sark is still not happy and has completely ignored Stonebwoy’s apology.
