Andrews Mensah: Kumawood actor reportedly shot by unknown gunmen

Report reaching YEN.com.gh indicates that popular Kumawood actor, Andrews Mensah, has been shot.

In a report seen by YEN.com.gh on Oneminutegh.com, the actor, popularly known as Scorpion, was shot by unknown gunmen.

Per the report, the unknown gunmen broke into his room in the wee hours of Thursday, September 10, 2020.

Information available shows that he attempted to prevent them from hurting his family but the gunmen shot him and hit him in the head with heavy sticks until he fell unconscious.

Speaking with Daily News Ghana, Scorpion's brother Emmanuel Ntul, confirmed that his brother is alive but in critical conditions and has been rushed to the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

Scorpion has been one of the best Kumawood actors due to martial arts skills.

He shot to fame 6 years ago and he has never looked back.

Meanwhile, popular Ghanaian comic actor and Kumawood veteran, Akwasi Boadi, known popularly as Akrobeto has stunned his many fans and followers with a new photo.

In the new photo of the actor spotted on social media, he had dressed as a reverend minister and was carrying a Bible.

The photo also saw the host of UTV's Real News keeping a straight face as he pointed his finger to the camera as if he was reprimanding someone - more like one of his congregants.

Akrobeto was wearing a clerical and a blue shirt as he stood in what looked like a photo studio or booth.

It is yet to be known if the photo was taken for a new project the actor is working on or he is trying to enter Bible school.
