The reigning Vodafone Ghana Music Awards winner, Kuami Eugene, has chastised his colleague musicians for being fake, hypocritical, and not being supportive.
In a new video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Kuami Eugene said these colleagues find it so hard to even share songs from others.
Mincing no words at all, the musician said the best some of the musicians do when others drop songs is for them to share on their Instagram stories which lasts for just 24 hours and that is all.
He added that those musicians would come and say: “I have supported you oo, go and check my Insta stories, I have shared your song and tagged you.”
Kuami Eugene described this as very unfortunate because if they really want to help, they would have shared the songs on their Instagram page for their million followers to see.
He likened the situation to a young girl seeking help from Ghanaians but would never get the help needed.
This girl, Kuami Eugene said, would be forced to employ controversy by even going naked on social media just to get the attention needed.
However, these same people who never helped would be quick to jump on her and criticised.
He also touched on the many comments by others that he did not deserve to win the artiste of the year award, saying that he would not waste his time on such people in order not to drain his energy.
Kuami Eugene has released a new album, Son on Africa, which has a list of 14 tracks, including Open Gate, that is currently receiving massive airplay.
