Our manifesto: This is what YEN.com.gh believes in
Since the West African Examinations Council released the examinations results of the 2020 West African Senior Secondary Certificate Eaamination, (WASSCE), the results coming in are mind blowing.
The New Patriotic Party's (NPP) flagship programme, the Free Senior High School programme which was very much criticised since its inception has obviously yielded very positive and encouraging results results.
Results coming in have gone to prove that pioneers of the free SHS programme really took advantage of the opportunity that was given to them.
YEN.com.gh has sighted a photo of the result slip a student of the Aburi Girls Senior High School who has scored straight 8As in all her subject areas.
The business student, Afari Elizabeth Afua Alaboa aced all core subjects, English, Mathematics, Integrated Science and Social Studies.
Even in Economics, which happens to be one of the most difficult elective subjects most business students battle with, Elizabeth scored an A.

Social media users have congratulated Elizabeth for acing all her examinations.

This results are normal. Because this schools are first class schools and students from this schools were getting results like this before free shs. Post results from second and third class schools. They also took part of the WASSCE.
Nana Mahama believes she performed well because money and food were not her problem.
I am not surprised they have performed so well because if money and food are not your problem, you can have a peace of mind to study well. Congrats to her.
Seth Doe said the school she attended meant she would perform brilliantly.
But the school she attended means she's expected to be brilliant .
