As the world waits to walk into 2021 in some hours from now, New Zealand is already celebrating the new year with fireworks.

In a video that was shared on Twitter by Bloomberg Quicktake, beautiful fireworks could be seen announcing the beginning of a new year as the people immersed themselves in celebration.

Other countries that are also in 2021 already include the small pacific island nations of Tonga, Samoa and Kiribati/Christmas Island.

Tweeps took to the comment section of the post to celebrate the new year.

In other news, Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele has urged Nigerians to be prayerful ahead of the challenges of 2021, saying the first quarter of the new year would be very tough for citizens of the country.

The general-overseer of the Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church stated this while sharing some prophecies concerning the year 2021.

One of such predictions is the 2023 presidency. According to him, a northerner will still come back to rule Nigeria.

While explaining that northerners will not take it easy for any tribe to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari, the cleric said an Igbo presidency will not work because they will betray themselves.
