Mahama will lose Supreme Court petition - Owusu Bempah

Head pastor of Glorious Word and Power Ministry has predicted that John Dramani Mahama will lose his case in the Supreme Court.
The former president together with his legal team from the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) are praying the Supreme Court for a rerun of the 2020 presidential election.
Addressing his congregants in a service to usher in the New Year, the controversial prophet revealed that a the NDC will lose the election petition
Owusu Bempah made a total of 20 prophecies. One that stood out was his prediction of Ghana possibly experiencing a political coup that will destabilize the country.

The self-acclaimed prophet made this known as part of an avalanche of prophecies during a sermon on New Year’s eve.
Already, Apostle Opoku Nyina is asking prophets not to predict winners of an impending election. That's not all, he also wants prophets to refrain from foretelling the death of people.
According to him, such prophecies creates tension and retards the growth of the party. He made these remarks whilst delivering a sermon at the NPP nations Thanksgiving service on the theme, Ebenezer, thus how far the lord has helped us.
“A true prophet must be neutral of knowledge and wisdom that their prophecies does not cause panic. My plea to our prophets is not to prophecy on why will die and will lose an election. Our duty as prophets must be to lead society’s face to God,” he stated.
In response to him, Owusu Bempah stated that he will continue to prophesy in spite of the caution against such practice.
Ghana’s 2020 elections has been documented by many political scientists as the most controversial and bloody.
Election results declared by the Returning Officer to the President – Jean Mensa – confirms that John Mahama was unable to garner 50 plus one votes. The results show that John Mahama polled 6,214,889 while Nana Addo polled 6,730,413 votes.
The opposition NDC has fiercely rejected the results of the election. John Mahama has described it as flawed and rigged. Party supporters have also picketed at the headquarters of the Electoral Commission on various occasions against the results.

Political scientists at the Department of Political Science of the University of Ghana argue that forming a parallel government is unconstitutional. Such acts can even trigger treasonable offences.
The Managing news editor of the crusading guide newspaper says that the results of presidential and parliamentary elections have been gazette. He believes it will only take a judgment from the Supreme Court to reverse the results of the elections.
