FreeBullDogNow: Ghanaians petition authorities to release artiste manager
Popular Ghanaian artiste manager, Bulldog, has been arrested for raining unprintable words on the sitting President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo
As YEN.com.gh previously reported, the gentleman made the utterances on live TV in a show hosted by Kumawood actress, Nana Ama McBrown.
Since the news hit social media, Ghanaians have been reacting massively on Twitter, asking for the release of Bulldog, citing examples of worse cases in which the perpetrators were not apprehended.
Check out some of the comments below:
@JMbapeppy asked:
Where were the police and the BNI when the military killed innocent Ghanaians at Techiman? Where were they when a dishonourable MP threatened to burn JM’s house?
Is Akuffo Addo a God or the 1st president in Gh?
JM was never an autocratic leader!
@kwakurafiki2 cited an Instance when Kennedy Agyapong did worse than Bulldog but was left off the hook
@CheEsquire also stated that:
Kennedy Agyapong threatened Ahmed Suale and he was murdered days later. When will BNI do their job?
@CheEsquire further added that:
The nonsenses Akufo-Addo and his government must end at a point
@sirjohnnn simple could not believe that the popular artiste manager was arrested just because of the comments he made on the United Showbiz with Nana Ama McBrown.
According to Highlife music legend Rex Omar who confirmed the arrest of Bulldog, his information indicates that some men from the presidency went to arrest Bulldog and dumped him at the BNI.
Meanwhile, as YEN.com.gh also reported, a Ghanaian father of four named Abraham who hails from Somanya in the Eastern Region of Ghana was abandoned by a church as well as a medical facility.
According to Nana Akwasi Addo, an editor at Pink FM who was an eye-witness to the incident, he was called with reports that a man had been lying homeless for days without attention.
"I was told someone was lying unconscious beside a church building. I asked to be given some few minutes to attend to the situation," he recalls.
