Fella Makafui reacts to Martha Ankomah’s claim that acting does not pay

- Actress Fella Makafui has taken a swipe at her colleague actress Martha Ankomah

- She said one can survive with acting if he or she brands herself or himself very well

- Martha had said that some celebrities, mostly actresses, were living a fake life on social media to deceive their followers into thinking that acting pays

Popular actress, Fella Makafui, has reacted to her colleague Martha Ankomah’s claims that acting does not fetch money as some display on social media.

She said emphatically that she would not agree with Ankomah’s assertion, stressing that acting pays a lot depending on how one brands herself.

Martha Ankomah had claimed earlier in an interview that some celebrities were deceiving their followers on social media with the plush lifestyle they live.

She stated that it would be prudent for these celebrities to be honest with their fans that they have other means of survival aside acting alone.

However, Fella would not subscribe to Martha’s view and believes that one can survive and live a good life by just acting alone.

She noted that one’s brand and talent play a major role in how they are accepted and treated when it comes to money.

She revealed that she was once invited to act a movie in Nigeria, and before she even had to travel there, her acting fee had already been paid in full even before shooting begins.

Fella again said that she has been on set with many popular people than her but she was paid more than those people.

Her opinion had generated a debate among fans with some hailing her while others criticised her.

Fella Makafui was also in the news recently following a video of her tripping and falling off her high-heel shoes when she tried modelling.
