US singer Janet Jackson paved the way for herself as a performer and surely it couldn't have been easy being Michael Jackson's sister. Her Control album topped the US pop charts and the wild thing is that it was released in 1986.
Janet thanked her fans for the support and said that they are very special to her. She posted an Instagram video showing just how much gratitude she has.
"I was crying because I was so thankful for all that God has blessed me with, all that he has given me and I am so thankful for all of you being in my life. You’re so special to me," said Janet.
The star didn't think that her album would be topping the charts even 35 years after its release.
