A Ghanaian man residing outside the country has bemoaned the culture of indiscriminate misuse of the money people living abroad send home to supposed loved ones back home.
The man, simply identified as Kofi, was videoed as he stepped out from the house to find his car buried in snow.
According to Kofi, it had been snowing since 3:00 am unending but they have to endure and go to work amid the freezing temperature despite the health risk.
In the video that is being circulated on social media, he vehemently lashes out at Ghanaians who waste money their loved ones abroad send back home to them for projects but ends up being used to organise lavish parties.
''It's been snowing since yesterday and my car has been buried. Just look; I have to clear snow to make way into my car before I can move. But when we go through all this and send money back home, you use it organise luxurious parties. You waste the money on nonsense,'' he vented.
Kofi emphasised that people living abroad go through a lot of struggles to earn money before they can send some back home, urging his colleague who was filming him to pun and capture their ordeal in detail.
The video showing the plight of the two men venting their spleen about the indiscriminate use of their hard end money by supposed loved ones back at home is making the rounds on social media.
