Popular actor, Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win, has pledged to support the family of the five-year-old girl who was killed by his Great Minds School Bus.
His PRO, who gave his name as Okyeame, has revealed that the actor, together with the board of directors of the school has agreed to offer a full educational scholarship to the three siblings of the deceased.
He made this revelation in an interview sighted by YEN.com.gh in a video.
According to the PRO, the gesture is to help lessen the pain of the family, and to offer them some sort of compensation even though it is not a guarantee that the girl would return to life.
The siblings will receive a full of scholarship at Great Minds School, and at the senior high school level, the actor himself has pledged to support the family even though it is expected to be Free SHS.
Aside from that, Lil Win has also promised to respond to the call of the family anytime they needed his help in any way.
This follows an earlier report by YEN.com.gh that the school bus of the actor had run over a little girl and killed her instantly.
Narrating the effect of the incident on those involved, the PRO said the driver became dumb-founded for many days.
Thus, the school has directed him to proceed on leave, while an arrangement has been made for him to receive psychological help.
He also assured the public that the driver will not be fired as this was just an accident.
The PRO also disclosed that Lil Win has not been himself after the sad incident, especially as some people falsely accused him of using the girl for money rituals.
He begged the public to be decorous in how they criticise the actor.
