DJ Advicer: Popular Happy FM Presenter Passes Away; Tears Flow

Happy FM presenter DJ Advicer, known in real life as Isaac De-graft Danquah, has passed away, YEN.com.gh can report.

The popular disc jockey and radio presenter passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021.

According to a statement released by his employers Global Media Alliance Group (owners of Happy FM and its affiliates), DJ Advicer fell ill for a short period.

"The Management of Global Media Alliance Group (GMA, Happy FM, YFM & eTV Ghana) regret to announce the passing of Isaac De-Graft Danquah popularly known as DJ Advicer on Wednesday 3rd March 2021.
The Radio Presenter and Disc Jockey died after a short illness.
Happy FM’s supreme selector made it his sole purpose to put the spotlight on the relatively unknown artistes in Ghana, a personal mandate that he carried out with a lot of passion.

Until his untimely demise, DJ Advicer was the presenter for Happy FM's Ayekoo After Driver which he hosted between 6 pm-9 pm on weekdays.

On his show, he gave chances to many young and unknown music talents to promote their songs.

In 2019, DJ Advicer was adjudged as the Best Music Promoter of the Year at the Ghana DJs Awards. He also picked up the award for the Best Afrobeat/HipLife DJ of the Year on the night.

In other news, Ghana's COVID-19 vaccination programme has entered its third day with many stars have taken turns to get their first jabs of the vaccine.

So far, Nana Ama McBrown, Nana Aba Anamoah, Afia Schwar, and others have all been vaccinated.
