President Nana Akufo-Addo and his vice, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, have been spotted jubilating over the Supreme Court's ruling on the 2020 election petition.
The NDC's John Mahama filed a petition challenging the Electoral Commission's declaration of Akufo-Addo as the winner of the 2020 elections.
By the petition, Mahama was pleading with the Supreme Court to order a rerun between him and Akufo-Addo saying no candidate crossed the 50 per cent plus one vote threshold.
After weeks of hearings, the Supreme Court gave its verdict on Thursday, March 4, 2021.

The seven-member panel chaired by the Chief Justice, Kwasi Anin Yeboah, held that there was no evidence that Akufo-Addo did not cross the threshold for the court to order a rerun. It thus threw out the case as having no merit.
Following the ruling, a video has popped up from the presidency showing the reactions of Akufo-Addo, Bawumia, and others.
In the video sighted by YEN.com.gh, the president and his vice are seen keenly monitoring the proceedings.
Moments after His Lordship Justice Anin Yeboah affirmed Akufo-Addo's election, Bawumia got up to shout Mr President before bowing to greet him.
Later, the Communications Director at the Jubilee House, Eugene Arhin, Executive Secretary to the President, Nana Asante Bediatuo, and others came to congratulate the president.
Meanwhile, an unidentified man has died after the Supreme Court pronounced its ruling.
The man is believed to have been shocked by the outcome of the election petition and collapsed after the verdict.
