A giant turtle has found its way to a street in Lagos. In a recent video seen on social media, the sea animal with a big round shell made slow body movements as onlookers clustered it.

In the clip, a lady in a car - behind the video - disclosed that the animal was found around Eko Hotel.

The lady serving as the narrator warned that if the marine animal is not rescued in time it'd be butchered and turned to meat for consumption.

Some men on the scene of the video were seen pouring water on the turtle to help it stay alive as motorists and others that came across the animal marvelled.

Meanwhile,YEN.com.gh earlier reported that a Nigerian man had shared photos of the big bush meat he helped to kill.

YEN.com.gh came across the video of an animal being killed violently by some Nigerians.

In the video that recently went viral on social media, the animal could be seen lying helplessly on the floor after the animal was hit with a stone.

The animal was then picked up by an unidentified man who took a fat plank and hit it on the animal’s head repeatedly.

One of the men around was heard saying:

“The animal was giving us a tough time until I hit the animal’s skull with a big stone.”
