Celebrity and entertainment journalist, MzGee, known in real life as Gloria Akpene Acquah has finally opened up about losing her first pregnancy in a video.

In a self-recorded video, MzGee walked her fans and followers through a timeline of how she realized she was pregnant and how her life almost took a downturn following her miscarriage.

She indicated that she entered 2021 with a lot of uncertainty as her husband contracted the dreaded coronavirus in December 2020.

MzGee indicated that weeks after her husband recovered and came back home in one piece, she realized she was pregnant.

She decided to keep the news within her close circle and monitor the growth of the baby for a while because her major concern, according to her, was to see the baby develop very well.

MzGee said in a bid to do this, she started eating a lot and ended up putting on a lot of weight and it got people asking her questions about why she was putting on so much.

All this while, MzGee said she got in touch with her doctor and was made to run tests and scans to access the pregnancy.

According to her, the doctor complained about not seeing her fetal pole and raised concerns about it.

MzGee said her doctor said if after the 10th week the scans did not change, everything inside her was going to flush out of her system.

She revealed that she kept faith with the hope that things were going to go in her favour but she recounted that one morning, she felt a cold ooze in between her legs.

She checked only to realize that she was bleeding. MzGee said she immediately called her husband who calmed her down and asked her to get in touch with her doctor.

The doctor asked her to run some scans but she said the lady running the procedure said she was not seeing anything.

MzGee said she got in touch with her friend, Whitney Boakye Mensah who also introduced her to one Dr. Attoh who assisted her.

She said at that moment, she realized that she had miscarried and had to go through with the procedure of flushing her system.

MzGee said she had been married for 4 years and was excited that she was soon going to hold her own child in her arms after many people had asked her when she was going to get pregnant

She then moved to encourage women who are also trying to get pregnant through several means and asked them not to give up trying.

She also spoke against stigmatization of married women who are yet to get pregnant and apologized to all the married women she had asked questions about childbirth due to her line of work.

MzGee took the opportunity of her birthday which happens to fall on April 1, to speak out about her own experience with pregnancy.

Meanwhile, reigning Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year, Eugene Marfo famed as Kuami Eugene has spoken about why he cannot get either a tattoo or piercing for now.

While speaking in an interview, the Walahi singer indicated that his mother is the reason he may never be able to get piercings or a tattoo.

He revealed that his mother was very particular about his appearance and her values were not going to allow her watch him get a tattoo or piercing.
