UCC Student Priscilla Owusu Achiaa Passes Away In Bizzare Accident; Sad Details Drop

Priscilla Owusu Achia, a student of the University of Cape Coast (UCC), has passed away under very sad circumstances.
Achia, a first-year student of UCC passed on days after being knocked down by a car on the Cape Coast- Takoradi Highway.
A statement by UCC's management indicates that she was knocked down on Saturday, April 10, 2021, but gave up the ghost on Tuesday, April 13, 2021.
According to the statement sighted by YEN.com.gh, the 19-year-old was going to buy food items with her friends when a speeding vehicle knocked her down in an attempt to overtake another vehicle.
The unfortunate incident happened at Ayensudo near UCC's satellite campus of the Nduom School of Business and Technology.
The statement added that the family of the deceased has been informed while the police are also investigating the matter.
Achia was pursuing a course in Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) with specialisation in Human Resource Management (HRM).
The news of Achiaa's death comes barely two weeks after another female student of UCC, Vida Ekumah, passed away.
As previously reported by YEN.com.gh, Ekumah passed away after a short illness for which she had visited a hospital and had been discharged.
A makeup artist aside from schooling, Ekumah was the CEO of Vivi Glossy Makeover for which she was popularly known on campus.
She had was an award-winning makeup artist who won the Student Makeup Artist of the Year award at The Choice Style Awards in March.
