- Reggie Rockstone has jabbed TV star Serwaa Amihere over her post on Twitter
- Serwaa Amihere was of the view that those pleading on Poloo's behalf were 'wasting their breath'
- Reggie Rockstone however shared a different view on the whole issue
Ghanaian veteran musician, Reggie Rockstone, has taken a swipe at GHOne TV's Serwaa Amihere for speaking against those pleading for actress Rosemond Alade Brown.
In what appeared like a new beef on social media, the two celebrities were seen arguing on divergent lines on the matter that is currently trending online.
Serwaa Amihere expressed her confusion over why some people were still pleading for Rosemond Brown famed as Akuapem Poloo after she had pleaded guilty to the charges brought against her.
The GHOne TV star's post on Twitter read: “A person is convicted on her OWN PLEA, this means that the person accepts that he or she is wrong. The natural consequence of pleading guilty on your own volition means that you are ready to be punished. How are we asking for this person to be freed….”
Reggie Rockstone, however, did not share Serwaa’s view and took to social media to explain why people were pleading for Akuapem Poloo.
The veteran musician quizzed if Serwaa had a child and explained to her that human beings were liable to make mistakes and had to be forgiven when they realized their shortcoming.
Reggie’s tweet read: “WE ASK COS WE ARE HUMAN AND ALL BLEED RED AND FEEL FOR THIS PERSONS PLIGHT IS WHY IT IS OK TO ASK AND MORE SO ABOUT HER SON! DO YOU HAVE A CHILD? #empathy#weslip#thekid#empathy#jesuswould"
This exchange on social media follows the news of Akuapem Poloo being sentenced to 90 days in prison after she posted an obscene photo of herself with her 7-year-old son.
Meanwhile, a German-based luxury watch company noted for busting people who post and flaunt fake watches has turned its eyes on Ghanaian rapper, Medikal.
FreeAkuapemPoloo: Sarkodie, Sista Afia, others, join Ghanaians to boldly ask court to free Akuapem Poloo
The company, Munich wrist busters, shared a screenshot of Medikal's post in which he was flaunting a luxury watch he recently acquired.
They went on to break down the parts of the watch and indicated that it was a knock-off and not an authentic watch.
