A German-based luxury watch company noted for busting people who post and flaunt fake watches has turned its eyes on Ghanaian rapper, Medikal.
The company, Munich wrist busters, shared a screenshot of Medikal's post in which he was flaunting a luxury watch he recently acquired.
They went on to break down the parts of the watch and indicated that it was a knock-off and not an authentic watch.
The post read: "@amgmedikal With a fake Rolex Datejust. His watch is far too high for an original Datejust. In addition, the bezel is clearly too wide and the notches are far too pronounced. The crown of the watch is not in no way similar to that of an original one."
Medikal shared the photo of himself wearing an expensive-looking Rolex Datejust watch and captioned it: "Low-key be the highest key but Monni key."
However, the German company has dissected the watch and revealed that it is not a real copy from the luxury watchmakers.
Many social media users took to the comment section underneath the company's post to tease Medikal.
trojanaccount came in with the comment: "Oh Charley see how Dem dey dirty wona chairman for Foreign tongues inside hmm Somebody saf say 'Sieht was git woani so' that be German o but I see the translation fast fast kraa wey the direct translation be 'Abi you collect your eyes finish' hhmm you put Ghana on the map finish so say Dem go Shame we. Meanwhile, multiple award-winning Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie known in real life as Michael Owusu Addo has called on the law to pardon his colleague actress, Rosemond Alade Brown.
The Oofeetsor rapper took to his Twitter handle to call on the authorities handling the Rosemond Brown case to temper justice with mercy since sentencing her would be seen as a "little harsh".
Sarkodie added that it would seem a little on the hard side separating a mother from her child just because of some pictures they took together.
