Akuapem Poloo jailed: Kuami Eugene sacrifices rasta hair in solidarity with Rosemond Brown

Ghanaian musician, Eugene Kwame Marfo, known in showbiz circles as Kuami Eugene has vowed to take off the Rasta he has been growing for over a year in solidarity for Akuapem Poloo.

In a tweet sighted by YEN.com.gh, the Open gate hit maker wrote, I’m Taking The Rasta Off Tomorrow For Poloo. #MercyForAkuapemPoloo.

He joins the may others in the showbiz circles pleading for leniency for Akuapem Poloo who was sentenced to 90 days in prison on the count of nudity.

Actress Rosemond Brown has been slapped with a 90-day jail term after the court convicted her earlier for three charges.

She has been charged on three counts which will run concurrently.

In a news report monitored by YEN.com.gh on TV3, the judge, Her Honour Christina, explained that the court would not temper justice with mercy in order to bring sanity to social media.

Rosemond Brown broke down upon hearing the sentence and went on her knees to beg the judge but her pleas for mercy were not heard.

The judge reportedly complained about the aggravation of the matter when Akuapem Poloo earlier pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against her.

She was convicted for going nude before her son on his birthday and sharing the photos on social media.

His vow to this in solidarity for Akuapem Poloo has garnered some reactions from his fans

Meanwhile, Hiplife legend Reggie Rockstone has jabbed TV presenter Joyce Serwaa Amihere on Twitter over Akuapem Poloo's court case.

Serwaa Amihere had suggested that those pleading on Akuapem Poloo's behalf were 'wasting their breath,' Reggie Rockstone however shared a different.
