Patapaa: Musician’s Comments on Akuapem Poloo’s jail case Draws Massive Criticisms

Ghanaian musician, Patapaa, has spoken on the trending Akuapem Poloo’s jail issue.

In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Patapaa said he has tried to understand the judgement meted out to Akuapem Poloo in this case but he cannot come to terms with it.

He then resorted to using vulgar words, saying in the Akan language that if you open your private part, you can end up being jailed for one year.

By his comment, Patapaa seems to warn that people must be wary of the things they post on social media in order not to end up like Akuapem Poloo and be jailed for a year.

His comments have attracted some views from fans with one person calling him “bush boy”:

Meanwhile, musician Kuami Eugene and many other people are signing petitions to President Akufo-Addo to have Akuapem Poloo released.

Eugene has also fulfilled his promise to cut off his Rasta in solidarity with Akuapem Poloo.

He had joined many celebrities to plead with President Akufo-Addo to have Akuapem Poloo released from jail.

One woman claiming to be a prophetess has also warned that Ghana will be doomed if Rosemond Brown is not released from prison.

The prophetess's words are coming just three days after Akuapem Poloo was sentenced to 90 days in jail for sharing nude photos with her seven-year-old son on social media.

While many people have pleaded for Poloo's release, actress Afia Schwarzenegger has jubilated over her arrest and some people have called her a heartless woman.

Also, a Nigerian millionaire, Mompha, has sympathised with Rosemond Brown and left a touching message that got many people thanking him.

In other news, Ignatius of Date Rush has tied the knot with his girlfriend in a beautiful wedding ceremony over the weekend.

In the video seen by YEN.com.gh, Ignatius is captured happily dancing with his bride while people cheered them on.
